What is the Pemberton Barn Dance
The Pemberton Barn Dance is a community shindig with a reputation almost as big as its heart. What started in 1995 as a small single purpose event in the Pemberton Meadows, grew to become an annual fundraiser attracting upwards of 1,200 people and raising $40,000.

The PVTA has entered into a collaborative process to develop a trail management plan for the Pemberton area. With the help of the Lilwat Nation, SLRD, FLNRO, and a variety of other interested parties we hope to develop a document to guide management of existing and future trails. Recent unsanctioned trail building activity in proximity to the Village of Pemberton threatens to undermine these efforts. The PVTA encourages anyone who is interested in constructing new trails to contact the association.
